Standalone Attendance Control System Configuration

Standalone attendance control system configuration can be used for a small organization. Standalone mode, it runs as single unit attendance machine. If you install NCheck Bio Attendance in a Windows PC or tablet and configure it to standalone attendance control system, it will work as a single unit windows attendance machine. If you install NCheck Bio Attendance in an Android device and configure it to standalone attendance control system, it will work as a single unit Android attendance device. This is popular face attendance terminal configuration because it can be used create Android face attendance terminal with no additional cost for biometric capture hardware.

Client Server Attendance Control System Configuration

Network attendance control system configuration can be configured with one attendance server installation and multiple attendance client machine installation. Simplest installation of network attendance management system configuration is one attendance server and several attendance client devices are connected with reliable network connectivity. Attendance control system clients are configured to communicate with the server and to perform all attendance management operations online (Always connected to the server).

In this configuration, attendance system clients do not keep any data locally. They perform all attendance management operations and biometric recognition operations in the server side. This attendance system configuration needs more resources in the server side and less resources in attendance control client machines.

Network - limited Attendance Control System Configuration

This attendance system configuration is an extension of network attendance control system configuration. In this configuration, attendance control client devices are configured to work as offline attendance terminals. In offline attendance terminal configuration, attendance client terminal can perform employee time and attendance clocking even the server connectivity is not available. Client attendance terminals keep minimum required data to perform employee biometric recognition and employee attendance control and time tracking. When server connectivity is not available (offline), Client attendance machines perform employee biometric recognition within the client attendance machine. Once the server connectivity is reestablished, client attendance machine synchronizes attendance system data with the attendance control system server.

In this configuration, attendance system clients want to keep additional data locally. They can perform all attendance management operations and biometric recognition operations in the client attendance machine. This attendance system configuration needs additional storage and processing resources in attendance control client machines.

BYOD configuration

In network attendance system configuration, NCheck Personal ID can be configured to work with attendance control system server. NCheck Personal ID is installed in employee personal Android device and registered with a server. Then the employee personal android device becomes the employee personal attendance control device. Employee can use this registered device for clocking attendance. NCheck Personal ID attendance device can be used by only the registered employee.

In this configuration, NCheck Personal ID attendance system client uses minimum resources. All attendance management operations and biometric processing operations including biometric extraction and biometric verification are taken place in the server side.

Advanced Attendance Control System Configuration

Advance attendance system configuration can be performed by extending the network attendance control system configuration by adding a mix of online attendance control clients, offline attendance control clients and NCheck Personal ID, personal attendance devices.
