Also, NCheck Bio Attendance provide an application programming interface (API) for extending it's functionality with different kind of applications. For an example, you may want some client application, which will server a different purpose than NCheck client applications. In such cases, you can consume NCheck API to get specific information from NCheck server. For integration details, please refer the developer's manual. Executing an external application Example for external application use case - open a door. Employee check-in using NCheck Bio Attendance Standard client. NCheck Standard client (Client 1) update the record in NCheck server. In the Client 1 device configuration, we have configured to run an external executable on check-in event. This can be configured from the NCheck control panel. Go to device management and create a peripheral configuration, and assign that configuration to the said device (Client 1). According to the peripheral configuration assigned to the device, it calls the external executable/URL which we configured in the control panel. (This may be opening a door, or execute another application installed in the client itself. ) Using NCheck API in a third-party application NCheck API is intended... --- Integrating with Tally ERP Tally ERP uses Attendance Voucher to record employee’s attendance data, based on Attendance/Production types (i. e. present or absent days, overtime hours, etc. ). It is possible to enter the attendance records through a single attendance voucher or through multiple attendance vouchers for a payroll period. Daily, weekly or monthly attendance records can be exported using Total Work Hours report. If the attendance data is imported in daily basic, it will create multiple attendance vouchers for a given pay period. If attendance data is imported weekly, monthly or in other user selected period, it will create a single attendance voucher for a given pay period. Total Work Hours report can exported in to a CSV file. This guide explains how to create a Tally payroll data file using Total Work Hours report. Before exporting: Make sure that Tally system Attendance/Production Payroll units are defined in hours In your Total Work Hours report work time should be displayed in “Hours” (Show time-> Hours) Configure Total Work Hours report based on your pay cycle and payroll data import to the Tally system cycle: For daily pay cycle, select “Sum by” daily and set “Start date” and “End date” to be the same. Current version of NCheck Bio Attendance system provides 6 different reports: Total Work Hours Report provides the number of hours worked by each employee. Salaries are calculated based on this information. Calculating work hours is organization specific and takes into account details of the work shifts. Depending on the particular organization’s policies, additional work hours are considered overtime that needs to be covered by additonal payment. Work Hours Summary Report summarizes the attendance data by allowing display for three types of periods: daily, weekly and monthly.
